Annabelle is a physiotherapist who completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) in 2000 at Auckland University of Technology. She has gone on to specialize in Paediatric Physiotherapy with over 13 years’ experience. The majority of her paediatric training took place in leading hospitals in London, including St Georges and Kings College Hospitals. Annabelle has also completed the Paediatric foundation Bobath course as well as being trained in the Neuro Sensory Motor Devekopment Assessment (NSMDA) and the Lee Method for DCD. She has specific interest in children with neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy, developmental delay, and traumatic brain injury as well as the orthopaedic management of children in the community setting.

Annabelle returned to New Zealand in 2009 and worked for the Central Child development team until June 2012. She has since worked on and off part time while raising a young family. Annabelle uses peer supervision and networking as well as reflection in order to initiate self-checking procedures always aiming to keep an up to date with her professional development ensuring she is constantly learning and evolving as a therapist. She has sound experience in supervising students in both the acute and community setting over the last 10 years.

Annabelle is passionate about physiotherapy and takes great pride in insuring she provides the best care for each individual child and their families.
